 I am writing today in regard to an awesome exhaust I found for my 2010 Street Glide. As you know the 2010 Street Glide and Road Glide have the factory 2 into 1 head pipe setup. I have always liked the 2 into 1 and always put it on my bikes. Anyway, when I first got my Street Glide it had a Super Trapp nightstick slip on. I think the Super Trapp is a good exhaust, being tunable and all, but I just was not that happy with the exhaust note. It seemed a little tinny or high pitched to me, and a bit too quite.
It came stock with 10 discs. I added 5 discs, breather kit, and a download he bike ran pretty good but still did not have the sound I was looking for. I thought I was going to have to replace my entire exhaust system, head pipes and all to get what I was looking for.
I was out for a ride thru the foothills we live in and decided to stop at the BUB exhaust factory in Grass Valley, which is about 25 miles from where I live in Auburn.
If you haven’t already, go to BUB and look around. What a great experience! Owner Denis Manning gave me a tour of the place and showed me how the BUB exhaust is made. Awesome! What a great facility and crew. Denis has an amazing motorcycle history, designing some of the fastest motorcycles in history, setting multiple land speed records!
After Denis knew what I was looking for he suggested I go with a slip on for my 2 into 1 called the "BUB7 2-1 Slip-on".WOW! Jackpot! The low and midrange torque feels fantastic. The sound this pipe produces is just what I wanted, put a big smile on my face! It has a really deep sound to it. It has a good volume to it but it is not obnoxious. It works really well with the stock 2/1 head pipe and download. I could not be happier with it. I get so mant compliments on how good my bike sounds now. If you have a 2010 Road glide or a Street glide, and don't want to spend big bucks on an entire new exhaust system, you will love this pipe! He also has a great selection of exhaust for whatever you ride. If you are able, take a ride to Grass Valley and see the BUB facility. You won’t be disappointed. Jim- Auburn, Ca

Just installed the Bub7 Stealth's on my 09 FLHRC. They have an incredible deepness to their growl without any of the ear pain. Well within the local noise laws, which keeps me well under the radar. (no pun intended) ---T. First off thank you for putting up with my anxiousness of receiving this order.. I have received them and got them installed last nite. The instructions are much better and the installation is a lot better than what I had expected... Didn't have to move the rectifier or nothing.. I am a little concerned about how the heat shield is so close to the brake pedal.. Hopefully this wont be an issue in future rides.. But all in all I am very happy with them.. I thought the ends turned down more, but maybe I just remembered them wrong from another friend of mine that has them.. I might end up getting the stealth baffles though. These are louder than I expected, but it was late when I got done with them so maybe it was just me.. Hope you ladies have a great day and thanks again.. Eddie Black

I just love it the power band and sound are second to none thank you so much for all your help.

2009 FLHX with BUB 7 Slip-on Mufflers
Posted 12/02/2009 12:54pm  I built a nice '09 flhx with 103 stg II and stg1 street port heads at the end of '08. I kept the stock headpipes and used a set of Bub7 slipons.
I was one of the first at this shop to use them and they were a homerun. Everyone liked the look and sound.
After 1000 miles we went in the booth and got decent numbers...83hp and 98tq. I tuned with a SEST, btw.
Anyway after a while I wanted a little more so I switch to a fatcat 2:1 thinking it was going to make a
big difference...since I've run pro-pipes and thunderheaders on all my previous bikes I figured the fatcat would be the bomb.
Well it was the bomb...only making 86hp and 101 tq and I had terrible decel popping which no one can tune out.
The 2.50 baffle is a stright thru design with no restricition...thus no backpressure.
So after spending an obscence amount of money on them I wasn't too happy.
Now I'm going back to the Bub7's...bike's in the shop now and I've given them my stock headpipes to re-install. Ronny Berry
BUB Sleeper Slip-on mufflers on a Yamaha Tour Deluxe. Posted 11/16/2009 3:58pm  I am sending you pictures of my 2007 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe with your Venture sleeper slip on mufflers on. No alterations required. everything fit perfectly. I changed the bolt on the clamp to one that is 1/4 in longer, works much better, also if the shield on the muffler that covers the clamp extended past the muffler some it would cover the small space where the muffler meets the header. I am very pleased with them and highly recommend them as they are. Thank You , Jim

I bought the Lakester pipes and all I can say is it will not be mistaken for a Honda again. I do have a question though. Hi Jennifer!
I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my choice to purchase BUB Jug Huggers!
I listened to almost every make of pipes made for my 2007 Honda VTX 1300 C and went with what I considered to be the best sounding and looking pipes available.
I installed a K & N air filter, Dyno Jet kit and the Bub Jug Huggers at the same time.
The performance of my bike went up considerably. She now pulls hard through all the gears with no hesitation and has the meanest growl when I stand on the throttle!
One of my biker brothers was so impressed with the look and sound, he ordered a set for his 2006 Honda VTX 1800 C the very next morning!
I'm a single dad of two boys age 8 & 9, so my budget is limited when it comes to my toys.
Bub Enterprises hit it out of the park on all categories of looks, sound, quality and price! I'm attaching pictures of my bike before and after installing the Jug Huggers. My bike looks and sounds so much better now, I don't want the ride to end now. Thanks again Jennifer for your product knowledge and assistance with my purchase! "Pipes fitted, everything sorted, manafactured and installed new baffles - greatly reduced noise level, fitted free flow filter, power commander, dumped air box cover, dyno set up etc. etc.
128BHP at rear wheel, 90lb torque- much better result then expected.

Thanks for posting my X I have owned 3 different VTX1800 the first had V&H Bigshots the second had HG Sideburners and now you see my latest X.
I like the looks and sound much better than any on my past VTX's and have not seen any aftermarket pipes that come close to the BUB Jug Huggers.
I Love Them and everyone that has seen my X love the looks and sound of them also. Vance
